1. Mild Steel Cylindrical Rod 20 mm dia, 150 mm length
2. Single point cutting tool (HSS)

Step-1: Machine and workpiece set up

Step-2: Facing the Stock piece

Step-3: Straight Turning

Reduce diameter from 20 mm to 15 mm

Step-4: Straight Turning

Reduce diameter from 15 mm to 8 mm

Step-5: Straight Turning

Reduce diameter from 15 mm to 12 mm

Step-6: Groove Cutting

Grooving of the w/p from 12mm dia. to 9mm dia.

Step-7: Straight Turning
